We’ve been designing, printing, moulding, casting, armaturing, wigging and wardrobing puppets for our black docu-dramedy The Smile. Witness the making of some beautiful Hollywood actresses.
Computer models are printed in 3D, either in colour or in grey plastic. Colour prints are used directly for animation. The grey models are used for moulding and casting silicone puppets with armatures inside. The girl walking down the stairs at the end of this video is a combination of these techniques. 🙂
