Rewrite in rhyme

I paused storyboarding Lazy Dog to rewrite parts of the script—something that happens often as I move back and forth between writing and drawing until a scene feels right.

This time, I decided to write the dialogue in rhyme, just as I did in Under The Apple Tree. It adds both a poetic and humorous quality, giving the story a song-like rhythm.

I’ve also jotted down some exciting ideas for the film’s music—more on that once I’ve had a chance to experiment. Ultimately, I hope to collaborate with one of the composers we met at the Third Character Event at Film Fest Gent.
